MEN’S GROUP AT CARLTON HILLS

The Men of our Church meet weekly on Thursday evening at 7pm, either at the church but more often than not, at a member’s home. It is a time of fellowship and sharing, prayer concerns, and listening to the Scriptures. The Men’s Group is actively engaged in reading through the Bible with the use of the Daily Audio Bible app. Every day, Brian Hardin reads a segment of the Old Testament (usually several chapters) and New Testament, along with a Psalm text and a selection from Proverbs. Brian uses a different Bible version (“translation”) to read from each week.

The Men who have participated in this group over the years have reported an ongoing, growing depth of understanding of the Scriptures, and have grown to know, care for, and pray for each other in deeper ways. It doesn’t hurt that we’re Lutheran and enjoy some of Luther’s favorite adult beverages while we meet!
